Azure Migration Engineer - remote, UK, 6 months - global client
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- VM to Azure Migration
- Migration Planning & Design
- Application VM Migration from VMware to Azure Local Stack - who can implement or build an Azure Local/stack environment from scratch based on the design document provided. Should have prior experience in building Azure local/stack and migrating workloads from VMware to Azure.
- Troubleshoot VM conversion, networking, storage, and compatibility issues
- Experience supporting Azure migrations in manufacturing environments
- Perform migration discovery, dependency analysis, and readiness assessments
- Execute cutovers and coordinate migration activities with stakeholders
- Conduct post-migration validation, optimization, and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with security, backup, DR, and governance standard
