With over 25 years of recruitment experience, Rachel brings a proven track record of success in building long-term, strategic partnerships with clients. A natural connector, she excels at engaging senior decision-makers and using Initialize as a platform to help organisations scale with precision and confidence.

Rachel’s key strengths lie in her consultative approach, sharp commercial insight, and exceptional communication skills. She has established and maintained preferred supplier agreements with a portfolio of clients for 15+ years — a testament to her professionalism, reliability, and relationship-first mindset.

When she’s not delivering impactful recruitment solutions, Rachel loves the tennis court, keeping fit, travel & the good things in life.

John brings more than 25 years of recruitment expertise to Initialize, having built an outstanding career with global recruitment firms before co-founding the business.

Known for his relentless drive, people-first ethos, and commercial edge, John earned recognition as a top contracts biller before channeling that energy into building Initialize from the ground up.

Clients, candidates, and colleagues trust John for his consistency, honesty, and ability to over-deliver — time and again. His deep sector knowledge, combined with a genuine passion for connecting people, makes him a true partner in growth for every client he supports.

Outside of work, John is a lifelong Liverpool FC fan, a keen cyclist, a regular in the gym and is an avid traveller.
